Product Description

The PX3000 series φ2.5 eddy current sensor consists of a probe (housing), a preamplifier, a retaining nut, and a coaxial signal cable. The coil is sealed using a potting process , ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments. It outputs a voltage signal proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the surface of the conductor being measured. It can perform both static (displacement) and dynamic (vibration) measurements. It is primarily used to measure relative vibration, displacement, key phase, and speed of sliding bearings, as well as the swing of hydraulic turbines. It is suitable for industrial sites exposed to high temperatures.

The eddy current sensor fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute API670 standard.

Probe: Advanced mold technology ensures a secure connection between the probe tip and the probe body. A specially designed probe cable package securely connects the cable to the probe tip and can withstand a pull of 330 N (75 lb). The tip coil diameter determines the sensor's linear range and is typically used to classify and characterize probe models. Generally, the sensor's linear range is approximately half the probe tip diameter.

Coaxial signal cable: It uses high-temperature alloy double-layer shielded cable, which has certain corrosion resistance, oil resistance and waterproof functions, and can prevent oil or other liquids from leaking along the inside of the cable to the outside of the machine.

Proximitor: Can be mounted using a compact DIN rail or a traditional panel screw. Both mounting bases are electrically insulated, eliminating the need for a separate insulating plate. Multiple circuits are used to compensate for temperature drift, resulting in minimal drift coefficients. European Electromagnetic Compatibility (CE) certification is also available.

Coaxial Connectors: The probe, extension cable, and preamplifier all feature corrosion-resistant, gold-plated copper connectors. These connectors can be finger-tightened, and a specially designed mechanical lock prevents loosening. No special tools are required for installation or removal. The probe and extension cable can be ordered with optional connector protectors; these are recommended for installation in humid environments to provide the necessary environmental protection .
